Some of the tools I like when using a MacBook
Resize Windows tool
When working on a MacBook I cannot get used to the default OSX window behaviour. As a workaround I like the Tiles application from https://www.sempliva.com/tiles/ Out of the many workarounds I like this one because it is very basic: no fuzz, just resize the windows when dragging against the edge of the screen.
Oh my zsh
To have a bit of consistency between systems I prefer to install https://ohmyz.sh/
The colouring is nice, but I like the folder history the most when using ‘cd -’ so you can easily choose the previous locations you have been.
[/mnt/c]$ cd -2
1 -- /mnt/e/projects
2 -- ~
